I recently purchased some products from Colourpop. Definitely my favorite company as you probably know by now if you’ve been following the blog. The Sweet Talk palette stood out to me from all the things I purchased. I haven’t bought shadows from the company in a while. I really wanted to try something from the recent launch even though I didn’t have any expectations. That changed when I received my package and was kinda blown away.
The Sweet Talk palette was $18 plus free shipping if spending $35 or more in the US (Guam included…#winning) and global shipping over $50. It is cruelty free and made in the US.
This is the first palette that contains 4 different formulas which I thought was pretty neat. Pressed glitters (self-adhering), Super Shock shadows, and Pressed Powder shadow (in matte and metallic finishes) all packed into this cute 12 shadow pack.

Application and wear
Colourpop suggests that the Super Shock and Pressed Glitter formulas are best applied with fingers tips. I definitely agree. Although, using a sticky base and a flat synthetic brush works well if you have long nails or prefer to not use your fingers.
These colors are beautiful for spring and you can create tons of looks with the different finishes. I wear these with a sticky lid primer and these last all day. On my skin tone, some of the colors seem a bit redundant but for the price, I’m not mad at it.
The pressed glitter formula is my favorite by far. I use glitter shadows often and this is one of my favorites. The glitter is really pretty and catches light nicely. The only thing about the glitter formula for the shade Early Mornin’ is that it is not intended for the eye. Use this shadow at your own discretion.
Shipping
Shipping for my items was very fast…and free! It took a little over a week. They ship by priority USPS which is awesome since I live in Guam. The only issue I had was one of my shadows was loose in the palette. I was able to press it back into place so not a big deal at all. Colourpop has very good customer service so if it was a big issue I’m sure they would have assisted.
What are your go to palettes for spring? Any new makeup items that you have to have in your collection?
Thanks for hanging out today!
